Jelly sweets (SW friendly)

  • 2 x sachets Huntleys zero sugar jelly crystals
  • 1 sachet gelatine
  • 1 Muller Light flavoured yoghurt

Everyone loves sweets, and just because you are on a diet or healthy eating doesn’t mean you have to miss out thanks to these little beauties.

They are really easy to make too, you just need a steady hand to pour them out, or a large bulb baster would probably work too.

Add 1 jelly sachet to 140ml boiling water and then sprinkle two teaspoons of gelatine crystals on top and stir. If you find the gelatine is a bit lumpy then just keep on stirring. Pour the jelly mixture half way up your moulds or pour it into a tray if you want to cut the sweets up yourselves. I use these moulds but any small ice cube moulds will do, silicon is best.

Put them in the fridge for 10 minutes to allow them to cool and solidify.

Next make the same jelly / gelatine batch up again but this time leave it to cool for a few minutes and then stir in a Muller Light yoghurt. Pour this mixture into the moulds and then put them back into the fridge to harden. This should give you a two layer effect, although the first time I did it the jelly beneath was not quite set enough and the two mixed togeteher. They were still gobbled up by Mrs Peter though !

If you are on Slimming World these come out at 3 syns per batch !
