This recipe is really straight forward and it tastes delish ! Have it with rice or on its own. Recipe will make enough for 3 or 4 depending on appetite 🙂
In a large pan or wok put the mince, onion, garlic and chilli flakes (add more chilli flakes if you like it hot) and fry until the mince is brown and the onion is soft.
Add the curry powder, ground cumin, salt and ground coriander and then fry and stir for a few minutes
Add the tomato paste, chopped tomatoes and beef stock and stir in well. Add the peas and stir them in as well.
Leave to simmer for about 25 minutes while you make the rice, or have a glass of wine. The sauce should become thicker and a lovely brown colour.
Serve and enjoy !
I use a mild curry powder but again if you like it hot you can use a medium or hot one but I would suggest using a mild one first, it was lovely with just the right amount of after taste and heat coming through.
